If map size is a problem for XB1, then the devs need to make the maps smaller until they can beef the game up to support large maps like these.

You notice the Fortnite devs added locations bit by bit as they made the game more secure. PUBG is just copy/pasted and it's killing it's performance. I can play PUBG on my shitty laptop with better results than we get on XB1 (idk about XB1X).

And I'm not even complaining, I gave my first impression. Seems people don't respect opinions when they're blinded by experience. One day I'll be used to it's shitty optimisation, or it will generally improve, either way this is how I've found the game. Not sure if you've noticed, but the game hasn't kept up with the PC version in terms of development. I understand it's a small team, but all they need to do is re-port the current version from PC to see general improvements in gameplay and graphics. A current generation console is easily capable of loading in a full world without textures not loading.

I never said the game sucks, I said it plays like shit. And I say 'did I touch a nerve' because this is a dedicated PUBG XB1 sub you pleb. If I posted to the regular PUBG sub, the majority of people would agree with me. Negative first impression is not a negative opinion. My opinion on the game is positive, but not in it's current state, or until I get used to it's flaws.
