Hi everybody, I am installing an Upsilon 2000 UPS via USB adapter on a RedHat 9 and I cant make that the device communicate correctly. On 3/26/07, gonzalo campuris wrote: > # /etc/upsilon/upsilon start > Initial Config Complete > > Copyright(C) 1998 Mega System Technologies, Inc.

This list is for the Network UPS Tools (NUT) software, but this log looks like it is from something else entirely. The RPMs listed on rpmfind.net for RH9 seem very old, so you will probably need to compile from source: Then, since your UPS is not listed in the compatibility list, you probably need to try a few drivers, such as megatec. There is a new gamatronic driver that is being expanded to handle the full SEC protocol, and that might work as well. It looks like the port is /dev/ttyUSB0.

UPSilon 2000 is mentioned on which suggests that the 'megatec' driver is indeed the right one. Our driver is called 'megatec' as well. You may download NUT here: -- - Charles Lepple.
